Speiran IvySPEIRAN, Ivy May (Ley) - Passed peacefully on October 28, 2021 in her 99th year, at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Alfred (1993) and son Paul (1989).

Fondly remembered by sons Garry (Harriette), Glenn (Sheila) and daughter Bonnie.

Grandchildren, Rob (Jennifer), David (Joanne), Terri Lee Ann (Alessandro) and Mark.

She deeply loved her great grandsons: Chris, Antonio, Alessio and Adriano known as G.G. by the latter 3.

Ivy was the 6th child of Charles and Alice (Prout) Ley who had immigrated from Devon, England in 1917 and settled in Toronto.

Ivy was predeceased by the Ley siblings: Roy, Ivor, Pearl, Winnie, Len, Dorothy and Jim.

She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and cherished friends: Bernie & Lynda, Glennis, Cheryl, Swan, Elaine, Nora, Ken, Maria and Loges.

Arrangements with the Marshall Funeral Home in Richmond Hill. As per Ivy's wishes cremation has taken place. Internment will take place at a later date in the family plot in Beaverton.

Our sincere thank-you to all of her caregivers and the staff at the Hospice for the wonderful care and affection shown to her in her last days.

In lieu of flowers we request that donations be made to Hill House Hospice, 35 Wright Avenue, Richmond Hill. Our sincere thanks to Hill House Hospice for the wonderful care and affection shown.
