SHAW, Alexander Islay - Passed away on October 25, 2021.
Beloved husband to Lorraine. Loving father to Suzanne (Garnet), Shelley (Mark), Jackie (Alan).
Grandfather to Stephanie, Alexandra, Nicolas, Kayla, Tyler, Damien, Islah, Taya, Makye and was an extended grandfather to so many others.
Survived by sister Darlene (Joe) and Lisa.
Pre-deceased by brother David.
A loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Al was the founding member of the Park Rod and Custom Car Club for 62 years and organized the NHL Old Timers Original Six Alumni Luncheons for over 20 years.
He will be sadly missed by this extended family. Al will be remembered as a loyal friend, caring and kind man.
He was a dad who taught his children that a little bit of kindness goes a long way, that best lessons can be learned from mistakes and that a good family is a great gift.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
