WOODWARD, Bette - Bette Woodward, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 29, 2021 enveloped by the love of her family and her cherished caregivers at Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care.
Bette lived with dementia for 19 years, and while her journey was one of slow decline, she took each step with dignity and grace.
Her spirit is finally free to join her husband Ross, her mother Ella, her sister Pat and the many other beloved family members and friends who passed before her.
Bette will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Janet and Lynn, her granddaughter Erin.
Family and friends were of great importance to Bette and she gladly welcomed many into her home and her heart over the years. She was an avid crafter, who enjoyed knitting, sewing, quilting and needlepoint. She often made gifts for the people she loved. Her quiet gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
A private family interment will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Scott funeral home Mississauga chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
