Edmondson StephenEDMONDSON, Stephen Harry - On Sunday October 31, 2021, our cherished Stevie passed away in the comfort of his home in the embrace of his family after a valiant 6-month battle with cancer.

Born October 15, 1957, Steve was deeply loved by his wife of 39 years, Sharon, and his beloved children Elizabeth (Daniel), David (2010), Kathleen & Ian.

Son of the late Willemina and Harry Edmondson, devoted brother to William (Barb), Robert (Karen), and Mary-Ann (Jon). Son-in-law to Norman (Nora-deceased) & Grace Atkins, brother-in-law to Noreen (Sam) and Lynn (Don).

Is loved and will be dearly missed by nieces and nephews, an extensive group of friends and colleagues, fishing buddies, and ‘the backrow boys’ from UofT Civil Engineering.

Steve had a long and very successful career as a Senior Executive, but most of all he was a rock, confidant, and cheerleader for his kids. The loss of his loving, funny generous spirit is immeasurable and we will miss him dearly.

A heartfelt thank you for the care and support of Dr. Lydia Cheung, Dr Anthony Lott and all of the staff who blessed us with their kindness.

Arrangements are entrusted with Kane-Jarrett Funeral Home.

In honour of Steve, donations would be greatly appreciated to the David S Edmondson Memorial Award at the University of Western, (www.westernconnect.ca/edmondson) or Dr. Anthony Lott at the Odette Cancer Centre (http://donate.sunnybrook.ca/champions-of-care).

“We love you to the moon and back."
