BERNGARDS, Guy Francois - February 13, 1956 - October 8, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Guy Francois Berngards on October 8, 2021 at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill Hospital at the age of 65.
Known by many, loved by all.
Guy was a beloved brother to Vija (Mitch), Lilija (Ken) and Paul (Susan), a cherished stepfather to Mathew (Kaitlyn) and their two children, a loving companion to Daphne Bailie, her children Taylor (Katie) and Claire (Rasih) and her four grandchildren.
He was also an endearing uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Guy's personality was larger than life and yet, he was humble.
His positive impact on so many individuals will never be forgotten and he leaves behind the legacy of a man who put others first.
He will be greatly missed by a countless number of colleagues and friends who he considered his chosen family.
In keeping with Guy's wishes, cremation has taken place.
A memorial visitation will be held at Highland Funeral Home, Markham, ON on Friday, November 12, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. and a memorial service celebrating his life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10 a.m. Capacity is restricted to 80 people maximum.
