Sauson DorothySAUSON, Dorothy Mary (nee WATT)    -  Of Caressant Care Home, Mary Bucke, St. Thomas, ON, formerly of London, ON peacefully passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late O. Ray Sauson.

Dearly loved mother of Les (Wanda) of St. Thomas and Dorothy (Dollie) Read (late Jeffrey) of Cornwall, ON.

Cherished grandmother of Terri (Meg), Logan, Christopher (Jaimi), Jennifer (Jeff) and Michael (Bobby).

Eight great-grandchildren, Jesse, Alex, Lana, Geena, Oliver, Benn, Sydney and Jordan.

Dear sister of Sarah MacKenzie of Shigawake, QC and predeceased by brother Arnold and sister Ida Sullivan. Lovingly remembered by a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Dorothy was born in Hope Town, QC on September 6, 1925, daughter of the late Hugh and Ida May (Watt) Watt. She was a homemaker and enjoyed opening her home to family who needed a place to stay.

She always loved to host parties and enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She always had a smile on her face.

She attended St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in London, ON.

Cremation has taken place with entombment of ashes in Shigawake, QC alongside her loving husband at a later date.   A Reception will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Nedham's Funeral Home, London, ON . Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older.

Masks are required. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
