Betty stayed home to raise her children, rejoining the workforce with Bell Canada until her retirement in 1993.

Betty had a rich life. She adored her grandchildren Lindsay (Shane) and Caitlin (Kevin) and was blessed with time to enjoy the younger ones, Madoc and Samantha.
