GANGARAM, Soocilla "Urmi" - With deep sorrow, Soocilla (Urmi) Gangaram, passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family, on November 14, 2021.
Beloved wife of Cecil for 62 years. Much loved mother of Andy, Ann, Andre (Glenn), Vanessa (Karl).
Devoted grandmother to Brandon and Monica and great-grandmother to Eesa.
Lovingly remembered by her 9 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. O'Kane, Dr. Moore and their nursing staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, and also a warm thank you to the Home Care Partners Team and the Palliative Nurse Team.
Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville, on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Private interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Soocilla to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
As per the COVID protocol, all attendees must show proof of vaccination.
