MALOWANY, Josef Marion - Joe Malowany passed on November 14, 2021 at Amica Erinmills after an extensive battle against cancer.
Joe was born on December 24, 1946, a true Christmas gift to his mother Apolonia (nee Glib).
Joe was married to the love of his life Elisabeth (nee Smele) for 44 years until her death August 5, 2018.
He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughter Katherine, son-in-law Aaron, and grandson Logan.
Joe was the best big brother to sister Ann (Ron), brother John (Jay) and brother-in-law to Margaret (Colin), David (Annie) and John (Lesley).
He was Uncle Joe to many nieces and nephews.
Over his work life Joe managed several Odeon movie theatres before joining Winpak on Laird Ave in Leaside, retiring after many years of service.
Joe loved to play tennis and golf. He enjoyed weekends at the cottage at Whitestone Lake where he loved to waterski and fish.
He always welcomed friends and family to come and join him for a fun time.
Our memories of his love, kindness and generosity will never fade.
