PAPATHEODOROU, Antonella - (1984 - 2021) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Antonella Papatheodorou on December 1, 2021 after a fight she just could not fight any longer.
She is survived by her loving husband Jim, beautiful young son Giorgio.
Parents Maria and Antonio Zita, Siblings Filomena, Tina (Alessandro), and Danny (Sonia). In-laws Helena and George Papatheodorou, Thomas (Stephanie) and Alex.
Aunt to her beautiful Nephews (Antonio, Thomas) and Nieces (Verona and Aurora) who she adored with all heart. She will be missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
To those who knew Antonella, knew her as a vibrant outgoing lady. She could brighten a room with her smile. She had a laugh that was contagious and made you start laughing even if you were not in the mood to laugh. Nella was loved by everyone who met her, she was the mediator always.
She was the one who kept positive through her whole battle; she never gave up hope, ever. Nella was the type of person who would try to find the silver lining in any situation and encouraged everyone else to at least try to see it the same way. Nella had the biggest heart of anyone around. She would give you the shirt off her back if it meant that you were warm if in need.
She was a fantastic sister to her siblings and sisters and brothers in law, always there when they needed her. The little family that she and Jimmy created with Giorgio meant the world to her, she loved them to the moon and back, even to her last days she was ensuring that the both of them had what they wanted and were ok.
She loved her little GIGI, he was her world, she was an amazing momma to him, she loved to watch him grow and learn new things every day. She will be watching him and all of us from up in heaven now, as she has definitely earned her wings and is our own guardian angel.
We will miss you dearly Nellie; you were taken far too soon. You will be present in our minds and hearts forever. God bless you and may you rest in peace, beautiful Nella xoxox. 'Til we meet again, we love you.
