WATSON, David Allan   - 1956 - 2021  It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of David on Thursday, December 2, 2021.

As he climbed the final steps on his ladder of life, we believe that he was lovingly greeted by God, gently held by his dad (Syd) and mom (Kathleen, "Molly"), Gran and Grampa, dear aunts and uncles (especially Peg and Les).

Left behind to mourn, are his sister Barbara McAuley (Steve), brother Stephen Watson (Susan), his daughter Rebecca Cave (Kevin), his beautiful granddaughter (Aurora), nieces Karen, Kathleen (Rick), Sheryl (Paul), Stephanie (Brent), Anastasia, multiple great-nieces and nephews, and special friends Don and Maryann.

Dave worked in the Automotive industry for many years.

He enjoyed his Van, various cars, his Truck, and car rallies.

Dave enjoyed playing hockey, bowling, gardening, and spending time at the family cottage. He was always willing to help his friends and family, when he was able to do so.

Shocked by the unexpected death of his father, during David's early adolescence, he struggled to find peace in his life, and wrestled bravely with his addictions and health issues.

David loved his family. Our hearts ache, as he was loved and is missed dearly.

Dear brother, father, and uncle, may you rest in the peace, that so eluded you in life.

Cremation has taken place and a private "Celebration of Life" will happen in the spring.

For those who wish, donations in David's name, may be made to CAMH, Salvation Army or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
