Cook MargaretCOOK, Margaret Mary (nee BOUCHER)    - May 24, 1938 – December 7, 2021

Margaret (fondly known as Maggie) passed away peacefully shortly after midnight on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston, Ontario, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved wife and best friend of David Cook, widow of Tony Crolla, stepmother of Lesley Crolla, Alastair Cook, Tristan Cook, step-grandmother of Lucas Vanderburgh.

Born in Harve Boucher, Nova Scotia to parents Elsie and Hector; survived by her loving sister Josephine (Josie) and predeceased by siblings Charles (aka Brother), Irene, Francis, Beatrice, Ethel and Ella.

Margaret was a determined, elegant lady with great style and a sunny disposition, who enjoyed many activities including golf, gardening, snowshoeing and above all, travelling.

She was also an excellent cook and a true "foodie".

Margaret was caring, egalitarian and generous of heart and spirit. She supported organizations including: Nova Scotia Community Colleges (NSCC) Foundation Scholarship Program, Sunnybrook Hospital, Kingston Chamber Choir, Queen's University, The Salvation Army Kingston Citadel Corps and many others.

The family is grateful to Pamela Stoker-Graham for her love, care and friendship.

Margaret would have liked to spend more time with all her family and many friends but was prevented due to the pandemic.

Following Margaret's wishes, a small, private funeral will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that any donations be made to the charity of your choice in Margaret's name.
