CALMUS, Maria - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Maria Calmus (nee Ogrodowczyk) on Monday, January 22, 2024 at the age of 98.
Maria was born in Duisburg Germany and came to Canada in 1954 with her beloved, late husband Paul.
Maria was the cherished mom to Michael (Donna), loving Oma to Jason (Amanda), Lisa (Ken), Amy (Kevin) and great Omi to Braidynn, Avery, Bennett, Clark, Keeley and Wade.
She will be truly missed by her close friends Angie and Margot.
The family want to thank the amazing staff at Amica Little Lake retirement home in Barrie for their wonderful care.
The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville), from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, January 29th. A private graveside service will be held.
