CHMYLIWSKY, Bohdan  - Passed away courageously at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the age of 67.

Bob was the devoted husband of the late Bohdanka (2003).

Loving father of Bohdan (Gillian) and Malanya (Justin) and proud grandfather of Gwenyth. He will be deeply missed by them. Devoted son of Maria and the late Ivan. Dear brother of Olga (David) and Stephanie Prystay (the late Marvin) and her daughters Natalie Prystay and Christine Aerssen (Ben and their son Bradley). Bob was born and raised in Val d'Or, Quebec.

He was proud of his Ukrainian heritage, and was a devout Ukrainian Catholic. He enjoyed politics, worked on campaigns and ran for office in his youth. Bob was an active member of the Ukrainian community. He worked hard to improve conditions in Ukrainian orphanages and helped orphans to be adopted in Canada. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. with Panachyda prayers to be held at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral Liturgy to be held at St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 300 River Oaks Blvd. Oakville (at Trafalgar Road) on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment, Oakville.

In memory of Bohdan, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Oakville.
