It is with deep sadness that we announce Tony's passing surrounded by his wife and girls.
Dedicated husband to Tizzie, loving, supportive father to Tara (Richard Merritt), Mia (Julius Toth) and Andrea (Christopher McLean) and proud grandfather to Benjamin, Nicholas, Samantha, Frederika, Sophie Claire and Keira.
Tony was born and raised in Switzerland and came to Canada to forge a future for himself, met Tizzie and together they created a strong and loving family.
He was the General Manager at the Prince Hotel for decades, an avid golfer, soccer enthusiast, lover of Johnnie Walker and the most loyal man you have ever met.
He will be missed for so many things, not the least of which his sense of humour, his directly translated funny expressions, his sage advice and his unconditional love.
At his ever humble request, no ceremony will be held.
