Shaddick PhilippaSHADDICK, Philippa Katharine Susan  - It is with immeasurable sadness that the family of Philippa Katharine Susan Shaddick, (known to her friends and family as "Pippa" or "Pips") announces her sudden and unexpected death on Monday, February 5, 2018 at home at the far too young age of 51.

Pippa will be missed deeply by her husband Victor (Vic).

She leaves behind a daughter, Lily and step-son Christian.

She will be sorely missed by all her siblings along with her mom and dad, Maggie and Duncan Shaddick.

Pippa would insist on also mentioning her beloved cats Cookie and Dori. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 16th at 4 p.m. at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St., Toronto.

Pippa was educated at Bishop's College School in Quebec and later at The University of King's College, Dalhousie in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She was a passionate fundraiser at the Arthritis Foundation of Canada, before her latest and last position at the Art Gallery of Ontario, a job she loved dearly.

Her dramatic flair, cackling (yes, she cackled) laugh and enormous personality will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Diabetes Canada.
