Tennant SueTENNANT, Sue  - December 25, 1945 - March 4, 2018

Beloved Friends and Family, Our precious, deeply loved and cherished Sue died suddenly, unexpectedly and silently in her sleep of a heart attack in Panama on Sunday morning.

Loving and inspired in all she accomplished: Mountain climber, Interfaith Minister, Philanthropist, Culinary and Wine Enthusiast, Loving Wife, Devoted Mother, Sister, Daughter.

Happily married for almost 50 years, the best of our lives, she has "graduated" to a mansion world where she will be with our beloved son, Jay, brother John and father Jack.

Joy for them all, sad for us. Sue and Derek talked about this event, many times, and by their faith know where she is. We embrace faith as simply:
1) "believing a little bit more than you can prove".
2) it is a "free gift", and
3) the only price for entrance into the "Kingdom of Heaven".
For anyone and everyone.

The ashes to be spread at her beloved Silver Springs as a reminder to all who love her to remember her joyous life, living for others! Sue is survived by her loving husband Derek, son John, brother Robert, mother Sylvia, Tracy, Lisa, grandchildren Derek, Hawley, Alison, Mary and many, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Gone from us too soon, her legacy of loving service lives on in her pivotal work as founder of Free Schools World Literacy and the thousands of young girls in Bihar, India who learned to read for as little as $15/year. A registered charity in Canada, USA and Australia, FreeSchools really is education on a shoestring.

A Celebration of her magnificent adventure (life) is planned on May 12, 2018 at the Nautica Building, 33 Ellen St., Barrie, ON from 2 to 4 p.m. with remembrances at 3 p.m.

So, see you soon, our darling Sue. I miss you terribly, you gave it all. Love and Blessings to all, in His Grace.

For anyone who wishes to make a donation in Memory of Sue's life for others please consider www.freeschools.org.
