GOSLING, Walter Douglas  - Walter, our much loved dad, poppy, brother, and uncle passed away in the early hours of Wednesday, May 16, 2018 after suffering a stroke earlier this year.

Walt was fiercely proud of his family; he and his wife Freda, who passed in 2016, were fixtures at hockey rinks, soccer fields, horse shows and school concerts for their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He leaves behind daughter Diana and Jim Young, son Garry and Alana Taylor, grandchildren, Dustin (Martha), Laina (Tyler), Brock (Cat) and Alison (Anthony) and Lauren. Great-poppy to Mary, Charlotte, Franc, Chloe and Hunter.

Also survived by sister Sheila and many nieces, nephews and cousins who hold fond memories of Uncle Walt's visits back home to Newfoundland. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Alice and siblings Bob, Fraser, Austin, Doris, Larry and Marguerite.

To celebrate his life, please join us at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23rd or at his funeral on Thursday, May 24th, 1 p.m. at Roadhouse and Rose, Newmarket, ON.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Walt's memory to the Palliative Care Unit at Southlake Hospital through the Margaret Bahen Hospice. Our family will always remember the care provided by the nurses and doctors.
