McCLURE, Thomas David  - "A Man to Respect, A Life to Admire"

July 20, 1929 - May 13, 2018

It is with feelings of sadness and loss that we announce the passing of our Father, Papa and friend at the age of 88.

Predeceased by his loving spouse Nan (nee Campbell) (2003).

Dear and devoted father to Campbell (Andrea) and Leslie (Bill). Cherished Papa of Andrew, Maggie and Heather.

Dearly missed by his sister Margaret (Dempster) and his brother Douglas (Mary). Predeceased by his two brothers Andrew and Jim and his sister Mary.

He will be greatly missed by nieces Elizabeth (Rob), Laura (David), Shonaig (Scott) and nephews Alistair and Neil (Diane). He will also be missed by Ram, Meri-Lynn, Jim, Karen, Eileen, Anne, Markus, Mark and Deb as well as his many friends, neighbours and business associates he had the pleasure of knowing over the years.

A special thanks to the Nurses and Staff at Brampton Civic Hospital, Oncology, Palliative Care Unit, for their compassion and care.

We also wish to thank Dr. F. Grainger, Dr. H. Manning, Dr. R. Davey and ER nurse Gifty for their care and kindness during the last few weeks of David's life. Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Brampton Golf Club, 7700 Kennedy Road, Brampton, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Brampton Civic Hospital and the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
