LEY, Dorothy Jean (nee TEEDON) - 1924 - 2018 Passed away in her sleep on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie at the age of 93.
Predeceased by her husband, Jim and her four siblings Harold, Eveline, Marguerite and Thelma.
She is survived by her sons, Ron, David and Brian, daughters-in-law, Cathy (Hill), Heidi (Kreiner), Karen (Langdon), Karen (Venditti) and Debbie (Accettura) and grandchildren Richard (Jenn), Tim (Beth), Elizabeth (Chad), Trina (Josh), Michael (Sarah), Steven (Jillian) and Vanessa.
She is also survived by her 9 great-grandchildren, Makayla, Sierra, Kaiden, Bria, Brooklyn, James, Allie, Anna and Benjamin.
She lived her life the way she wanted, making her own decisions, loving her many pet cats and dogs, well known for her sharp tongue and a love of gardening.
She loved working for the York Region Health Unit in Richmond Hill and at Chesebrough - Ponds in Peterborough.
At her request, cremation has taken place.
