MURRAY, Eric Rutherford, QC, - whose brilliance shone in the courts of Ontario and at bridge tables around the world, died peacefully on May 19, 2018 in his 90th year.
Predeceased by his beloved spouse Helen, he leaves behind his sons James (Sylvie Paquette), John and Fraser (Tanya) as well as his grandchildren Eric, Lauren, Kira and Aven.
In the words of his fellow cigar smoker and hero, Sir Winston Churchill: "I am prepared to meet my Maker. Whether my Maker is prepared for the great ordeal of meeting me is another matter."
A Memorial will be held at Convocation Hall, Osgoode Hall, 130 Queen Street West, Toronto at 5 p.m. on May 30th.
