Dayna Virag, beloved daughter of the late Irene Mila Virag and Richard Wendel Virag, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at Etobicoke Hospital on April 4th, 2024.
Dayna was not only a loving daughter but also a devoted sister to her brother Darrell, cherished niece to her aunts and uncles and loved by her many friends.
Her family and friends meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent in their company.
She was born on April 2nd, 1988, and throughout her all-too-brief time on this earth, she lived a life that radiated joy, adventure, and love.
Dayna was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her. With her infectious laughter and warm smile, she effortlessly brought happiness to those fortunate enough to cross her path.
Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, and she touched countless hearts with her gentle spirit and unwavering love. Throughout her life, Dayna embarked on many adventures, traveling far and wide and embracing all the wonders the world had to offer.
Whether she was exploring new destinations or simply sharing a laugh with cherished friends, Dayna's zest for life was truly inspiring. In her young adult years, Dayna found her calling in the service industry, where her vibrant personality and genuine warmth flourished. She brought joy to countless colleagues and friends alike, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Though Dayna may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be a source of comfort and strength to all who mourn her passing, and may we find solace in the knowledge that she now rests peacefully in the embrace of her beloved parents. In honoring Dayna's memory, let us strive to live each day with the same love, laughter, and kindness that she so effortlessly bestowed upon the world.
Though she may be gone, her light will continue to shine brightly through the countless lives she touched, forever illuminating our hearts with warmth and love. Rest in peace, dear Dayna. You will be dearly missed, but never forgotten.
A visitation for Dayna will be held Sunday April 14th, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario.
