Bigger JenniferBIGGER, Jennifer Ellen  -  It is with heavy hearts that Jennifer’s family announces her passing on Saturday, April 13th, 2024 while surrounded by her family at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto.

In her 39th year, Jennifer leaves behind her cherished son Carson.

Beloved daughter of Denis and Marie Savage. Much loved sister of Emma (John), Timothy (Jenn) and Daniel (Krystle).

Beloved aunt of Elizabeth, John, Gavin and Claire.

Jennifer will be lovingly remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and family in Canada, Ireland, England and Australia.

Also, sadly missed by Scott Kofman.

Jennifer had a smile that could light up a room and a generous, engaging approach that put everyone she met at ease.

Where she could find a way to help someone, she would stop at nothing to provide support with her company, a kind gesture or a surprise delivery to brighten your day. She is sorely missed by so many but most of all, Carson, whose intelligence, hunger for knowledge and delightful sense of humour are a credit to her and a joy to her family.

From her days on the soccer field, to her time spent travelling with family and friends, to making a beautiful home with her keen eye for beauty and colour, Jennifer was so many things to so many people. She was creative and resourceful and her love extended to her much-loved Boston Terriers who were by her side most of her adult life.

Even in this time of tragedy Jennifer still managed to find a way to help others through her last final kind act of organ donation.

Her gift of donation will help several families who received life-saving news because of Jennifer.

Thank you to the team at Trillium and St. Michael’s Hospital for facilitating her gifts to help others and for providing tremendous care, support and compassion to Jennifer as well as her family.

Please join with the family to share memories on Friday April 19th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME , 124 King Street East, Oshawa.

A Private Family Service will take place followed by cremation.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, when the family are able to gather with friends to remember Jennifer’s beautiful life.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to an Education Trust established for Carson Bigger by the family to honour Jennifer’s life. Details are available at https://gofund.me/54996967.
