BANDSTRA, Betty (nee Kuipers) Bandstra - Went to her Lord and Saviour on April 17th, 2024, in her 87th year.
She was born September 25, 1937, in Lemmer, The Netherlands.
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Jim; loving and supportive mother to Mark (Sylvia) Bandstra, Sue (the late John) Bishop and the late Francine.
She was a wonderful Beppe to Matthew Bandstra; Stephanie (Chris) Sissons; Sarah Bandstra; Mitchell Bishop and Mikayala Bishop. She loved her great grandchildren Gideon and Emmaline Sissons.
Dear sister of Joyce Miller, Cory (Rose) Kuipers the late- George (Shirley) Kuipers.
Betty loved her family so very much and she was a Godly example of putting her hope and trust in the Lord in times of sorrow. She loved flowers and for 14 years, she and Dad owned a flower shop in Bowmanville. Her gardens were beautiful! Her love, support and gentleness will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 6-8 pm on Friday April 19, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held at MARANATHA CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 285 Highway #2 East, Bowmanville on Saturday April 20, 2024, at 11:00am.
