Ting AlbertTING, Albert Ea-Lu, P.Eng, Masters,  - June 19, 1924 – November 10, 2018

Passed suddenly and unexpectedly.

Dearly beloved husband of Ming-Teh and adored by daughters Nancy Lee and Angela Lee.

Dad endured the Japanese occupation in Manchuria, whilst able to teach himself higher maths.

He escaped from Communist China to Taiwan, where he graduated from Taiwan University with a degree in Civil Engineering.

He started a new life in Canada, enduring terrible homesickness. From the University of New Brunswick he earned a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and later, with a full family life in Belleville, he weekly travelled to Toronto to further his own interest in Welding Metallurgy, and earned another Masters Degree. Angela; "I remember crawling into his lap and how he wrapped his robe around me; one of the safest feelings I've ever had.

He said he had a "feel" for things which came in handy as a Metallurgic Engineer.

He said he talked to his body and he did things his own way. He was eccentric all right. Part of why I loved him.

Now who's going to give me my yearly calendar." Nancy: "As little as of last week, you were climbing onto the roof to patch leaks and were always prepared to fix anything from dripping faucets to rewiring the lighting.

We thought you Superman and just about as indestructible. Your intelligence, sense of humour and voice of reason shall resonate with us always."

A private family cremation has been held.
