Hose MargaretHOSEY, Margaret Helen (nee FERNIE)   - 1946 - 2018 Margaret passed away peacefully at the Margaret Bahen Hospice surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, November 30, 2018.

She was born to the late Adam Fernie and Helen Fernie on September 28, 1946 in Kirkcaldy, Scotland.

She immigrated to Toronto in 1966, where she met the love of her life, Alan Hosey, who she married in 1969.

This wonderful woman will be dearly missed by her husband of 49 years Alan.

Beloved mother of David (Emily) and Denise (Lorenzo). Cherished Granny of Emma, Matteo, Keira, Gianluca and Alixandria, who she created many lasting memories with.

Dear sister of Adam Fernie and his wife Cathy; sister-in-law to Sr. Darina Hosey and her lifelong best friend Ann Krallisch. She will also be dearly missed by her countless friends and extended family in Canada and abroad, who will forever remember her warm heart and delightful nature. Her devoted goldendoodle Dexter, who never left her side will miss her greatly.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Margaret with her family during visitation at the Thompson Funeral Home, in Aurora on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15347 Yonge Street, Aurora on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.

Please also root for Margaret's beloved Maple Leafs in their quest for the Stanley Cup. She fondly remembers celebrating their last win in 1967.
