Connell JohnCONNELL, John Carson  -  September 29, 1930 - December 19, 2018

Dad, Jack or Uncle Jack as he was known by so many who loved him, died Wednesday, December 19, 2018, choosing to leave this world surrounded by his family, peacefully at home, breathless no longer.

As an RCAF navigator who travelled widely, he always had strong ties to Kingston, through family, friends and neighbours.

His long membership in the ACBL (American Contract Bridge League) brought him so much enjoyment as well as many close friends and his continued relationship with his KCVI buddies at their coffee club meetings always made him smile.

He will be deeply missed by all those on the North and South Shore of Royal Island, a rock very close to his heart.

His children Jane (Bob), Tracy (Greg) and David will miss him terribly and are so grateful for all the home care he received. He was predeceased by his parents Dr. Egbert Connell and Barbara Elizabeth (Cameron) and brother Jim and sister Barbara.

In honouring Jack's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be arranged at a later date.
