Survived by his wife of 63 years, Vera, son Brian (his wife Cheryl), daughters Karen and Tara (her husband Dave), grandchildren Michael, Kevin and Janet, Shane and Bram and great-grandchildren Isaac, Olivia, Easton and Benjamin.
A good book, a good cup of coffee and a good long walk were the simple things Jim loved.
His children will forever admire their wholesome and humble father, his dry wit and above all, his love and devotion to their mother.
May your soul quickly find heaven's equivalent of the Rouge Valley Dad.
