MILNE, Elaine Ruth (nee YOUNG) -
August 30, 1938- August 12, 2023
Elaine passed away peacefully, at home, with family by her side, on August 12, 2023.
Elaine will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, David, Carol, Tim, Sandy Windley, and their families.
Elaine was the last member of her generation of the Young family.
She will also be missed by Jack's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; the Nicholas family; and Krystyna, her dear friend and companion for the past 20 years.
Elaine was predeceased by her late husband of 16 years, Jack "John" Milne; her first husband, Mike Nicholas, whom she shared her life with for 12 years; her parents, Harold and Grace Young; sister, Marian; brother-in-law, Dan Windley; nephew, Craig; and great-nephew, Trevor.
Special thanks to Dr. Johnstone and the Dorothy Ley Hospice and the homecare folks who brought smiles to Elaine every day.
Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date.
