McGUIRE, Rita - Peacefully passed away, in her 91st year at the Toronto Sunnybrook Hospital, on March 28, 2024.
She was predeceased by her parents, Salena and Jack McGuire; her sister, Doreen Nogalo; and brother-in-law, John Nogalo.
She will be sadly missed by her sister, Dorothy Greene (Boston, MA); and by her nieces and nephews, John (Alexandra), Cathy, and Tim (Becky); and her grandnieces and nephews, Christina, Maxwell, Aaron, David, and Nathan.
She will also be fondly remembered by her friends and her St. Monica's Church family. Rita Lenore (Lenore) enjoyed a most fulfilling career as an Executive Assistant at University of Toronto (OISE), Trans Canada Airlines, and Stone & Cox Publishing Company.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 16th at 11 a.m., St. Monica's Church, 44 Broadway Avenue, Toronto. Interment to follow. After the interment, all are invited to a reception at the Morley Bedford Funeral Home, 159 Eglinton Ave. West, Toronto, ON.
