JOHNSTON, Mervyn Edward - In loving memory of Mervyn Edward Johnston, born on April 9, 1949, and departed from this world on April 18, 2024.
Mervyn's life was a testament to kindness and selflessness, as he dedicated himself to helping others and finding joy in everyday moments.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; mother, Phyllis; and sister, Brenda; but leaves behind a legacy of compassion and wisdom that will be cherished by his brother, Rick, sister-in-law, Frances, and nieces, Amanda, Kasia, and Melanie.
A private family celebration of Mervyn's life will take place in the summer of 2024, honoring his belief that "Life's purpose is to enjoy each day in some way," and his guiding principle that "Decisions are important - others should benefit from them, it shouldn't be just about yourself."
May Mervyn rest in peace, knowing that his legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire those he touched throughout his life.
