MCCAIN, Linda - It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of Linda Marie McCain on April 18, 2024 in Toronto after a long illness.
Linda was born on May 19, 1954 in Bath, New Brunswick to Marjorie and Andrew McCain.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 40 years, Dan Walshe and her three children, Andrew, Ian (Katherine Stewart), and Emma.
Linda was a cherished sibling to Allison (Clare, son Brian (Mary Andow, children Rory and Clem) and daughter Kate), Kathryn (Jamie Pyper, daughter Eleanor (Darryl Boynton, children George, Harrison, and Beatrice), Margaret (Paul Roy, son David and daughter Laura), Stephen (Penny, daughters Julia and Alice), and Nancy (Bill Morneau, daughters Grace Acan and Clare and sons Henderson and Edward).
Friends and family are invited to join in honouring Linda's memory.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel Ltd., 1403 Bayview Ave. (south of Davisville), Toronto. A service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at St. Clement's Anglican Church, 70 St. Clements Avenue, Toronto on Wednesday, April 24th at 11:00.
