McLEOD, Margaret - Died peacefully at the age of 95 on Sunday, May 20, 2018 surrounded by her family at King City Lodge Long Term Care Home.
She leaves her daughter Kathie (Bill), granddaughters Victoria (Steve), Dale (Paul), Shari (Neil) and Kristy, her sister Grace, sister-in-law Daphne and her seven great-grandchildren: Darcy, Alexandra, Madeline, Bryn, Mario, Emily and Kiara.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Wilfred, son Bruce her brothers Ken, Leslie and Bruce and her sister Dorothy. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was the daughter of Frederick and Hilda Taylor born and raised in Toronto.
Margaret is known for her positive attitude, love of animals and generous nature – always having a ready smile.
A very special thank you to the staff at King City Lodge for the past 2.5 years making Margaret feel very much at home and well cared for.
A Celebration of Margaret's Life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Aurora, ON L4G 6W8.
