It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, after a short and difficult battle with cancer. She was surrounded by love.

Jennifer Reed was the beloved and loving wife of Graham, and the cherished daughter of Marion and Bob Leach. She was predeceased by her brother, Jason, whom she missed every day.

She was a loving daughter-in-law to Randy and Lisa Reed, and sister-in-law to Pamela Ficociello (Tino) and Chris Reed (Carla). To their children, Jacob, Caitlyn, and Celine, she was an aunt in the fullest sense of the word: present, generous, and always supportive.

Jennifer cared for the people around her deeply and practically. She had a gift for anticipating what someone needed before they thought to ask, and she was always prepared: for the occasion, for the trip, for the hard day. She was an artist and she shared that talent freely, so that her creativity became something everyone around her got to enjoy. Her family, her friends, and her home were all better for it.

Jennifer met her illness with the same grace she brought to everything else. In her final days she spoke often of how grateful she was for the kindness shown to her, and her family echoes that gratitude to the many friends and family who surrounded her with love.  She will be greatly missed.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at Holy Family Parish (208 Prentice Avenue), on Friday, August 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Boguslaw Jaroszek officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758).
