Passed away peacefully at the Southampton Hospital, on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at the age of 83. Beloved wife to the late James Albert ‘Jim’ Switzer. Predeceased by her parents Judd & Isabelle Davidson.
Survived by her sister Doreen Freestone and her sons Patrick and David, her dear niece Dianne (the late Patrick) Nolan and her sons Chris and Derek & their families, and by many other nieces & nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Wendy Switzer will be held at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 248 High St. Southampton on Saturday September 19, 2026 at 1 p.m.
Interment of ashes will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Saugeen Shores Hospital Foundation, to the St. Paul’s Anglican Church or to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton.
