It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Sandra McIntosh (nee Dupuis).  She passed away peacefully at the age of 82, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Parkview Home in Stouffville.

Sandy is predeceased by her devoted husband of over 56 Years, Jim McIntosh, her brother Wayne, parents Fred and Iverna Dupuis, and most recently her brother-in-law Stewart McIntosh.

She was a loving mother to Ashleigh (Sean), and adoring Granny to Avelyn.  Sandy is survived by her brother Richard (Anne).  She will be missed by her nieces and nephews, extended family and many wonderful friends.

Born in Sudbury and raised in Toronto, Sandy worked as an Executive Secretary at Manulife until deciding to stay home and become a homemaker and stay at home mother.  She loved volunteering at the local elementary school and for the Heart and Stroke Society.  Jim and Sandy made Port Perry their home, where Sandy found joy taking her West Highland Terrier “Tyke” on walks, drinking her morning coffee while reading the newspaper and spending Tuesdays with her golfing and coffee “Rat Pack”: Diane R., Diane B., Marlene and Helen.

Sandy will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, hosting get togethers at her home in Seagrave, reading the daily newspaper, and her love of crossword puzzles.

Her family would like to thank Douglas Crossing and Parkview Home for their care and support.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Low & Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge.  Donations in Sandy’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada by visiting www.lowandlow.ca.
