Passed away at Innisfree House on March 16th, 2026 with his wife Mellissa by his side. He will be dearly missed by his daughter Rochelle and bonus children Mathew (Trisha), Meagan (Andrew), Eric (Morgan) and grand children Oliver, Ryder, Nolan, Grayson, Oliver and Raiden, siblings Richard (Leona), the late Francoise (Claude), the late Michel (Diane), Diane (Gord), George (Emily). Fern is predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste and Marie and will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Fern Verrette worked hard and loved his job as a heavy equipment operator, driving trucks and playing in sandboxes. When he wasn’t at work he enjoyed the open roads whether it be on a motorcycle or in his camaro. He also enjoyed travelling and spending time with his family.

Friends and Family are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Saturday, April 4th at Lounsbury Funeral Home (1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge) from 11:00am-12:00pm, a Memorial Service will follow at 12:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, reception to follow the service.
