Peacefully at the Smiths Falls District Hospital on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 86. Rosina “Rose” Annie MacDonald beloved wife of the late James “Jim” Allan MacDonald. Cherished mother of Laurel (Greg Murray), and Cherie (David Carriere). Cherished grandmother of Phillip, Crystal, Andrew, Seahara, Johnathan, and Brandon. Forever missed by her great-grandchildren Hayden, Isabelle, and Jettson. Survived by her siblings Lillian Tippan, and Edward Coles. Predeceased by her parents Ronald and Florence Coles, her daughter Brenda Trudel, and her brother Ronald Coles. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Lannin Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 6:00pm – 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 12:00pm. Immediately following the funeral service there will be a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 95, Smiths Falls. Interment will take place in Spring at South Gower Cemetery.
