Surrounded by love, Mary Jane passed away March 8, a beautiful sunny day. Waiting to dance with her again and sit at the picnic table, is her husband Doug who left us in 2003. Sad to lose her but blessed to have her are her son Darryl Currah, her daughter and bonus son, Leigh-Anne and Doug Daniels. She was the best Grama ever to her grandchildren Brittany and Derek Foubister, Daniele and John Hiemstra, Julie and Mark Siebert. Great Grama of Maya and Aiden Foubister, Laura and Kyle Hiemstra and Ivy Ricard. Doug and Mary Jane had many fun times with Doug’s baby brother and his wife Don and Carol Currah. While in nursing school, Mary Jane made her best friend for life, Cathy Hull. Many happy memories made on the farm will be remembered by nephew Donnie and nieces Brenda, Jo and Jennifer. She will be missed by the Daniels clan who welcomed her into the family like one of their own. Always putting others before herself, mom was an example of love, selflessness, hard work and humility. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. N, Essex. Donations appreciated to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Ronald McDonald House, Windsor. As per Mary Janes wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest with Doug at a later date.
