It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Florence Jean Miller (nee Collier) of Picton. She peacefully entered into rest at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the young age of 94. Daughter of the late Wilburt and Martha Collier (nee Carl) and beloved wife of the late John Miller. Predeceased by her sister Irene Smith. Adored and cherished mother of Karen (late Peter) Belleghem, Robert Miller, Randy Miller, Wayne (Carolyn) Miller, Cindy Pilon (Angus Grigor), Donna (Steve) Sheppard, and Linda (Brian) Snoddon. Nannie will be deeply missed by her many grand and great grandchildren who she cherished dearly: Jason, Jeffery, Jessica, Jhillian, Brittany, Vanessa, Brooke, Carley, Kelsey, Jack, Domenic, late Ethan, Hugh, Annabelle, Paige, Evrin, Maddex, Freya, Easton, Logan, and Stevie. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and many friends from Waupoos and surrounding areas. Flossy will be remembered for her generous spirit, kind heart, and endless energy that she gave to others. Special thank you to the very kind, passionate and caring Doctors, Nurses and PSW’s that made her final days at ease.
In keeping with Florence’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a funeral service. A Celebration of Florence’s Life will be held at the Picton Elk’s Hall on Sunday, April 12, 2026 from 1-3 p.m. Interment St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Waupoos at a later date.
