Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay at the age of 90. Loving mother to Dale (Pat), Greg (Bev) and Suzann. Devoted “Just Gram” to Alex (Becca), Nick (Carlee), Dan (Sarah), Brett (Jayme) and Michael (Ashley). Proud GG to Rylee, Jack and Noah.
Doreen Helen Elaine Catherwood is predeceased by her parents Ivan and May Cochrane (nee Adams), as well as her brother Don, his wife Freida, and her sister Joyce Abraham. She is survived by sister Judy Cochrane (Rick Dimock), and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Hampton, raised near Blackstock, she worked in Uxbridge as a Bell Operator, met her husband and raised her children in Uxbridge. After her children were in school, she worked in Joseph Gould School, first as a lunchtime assistant, and later in the caretaking team of the school. She also donated time at Chances Are.
She lived a simple life filled with family, love and laughter. Her greatest joys were her grandsons and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful grandmother and will be greatly missed.
