Bell Amy Obituary 280x354 1

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Michelle Bell on November 21, 2025. Amy was born in Victoria on August 19, 1989, and spent her life at home with her parents. Amy was predeceased by her Nana (Wilma Taylor) in 2023. She leaves behind her parents (Kevin and Lori Bell), her beloved sister Alison (Patrick McBride), niece Rowan Amy McBride, her grandparents (Doug and Joan Bell) and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins that she loved dearly.

Amy was known for her infectious smile, hugs, sense of humour, innocence, and unconditional love for everyone she met. Amy attended Hampton, Lake Hill, Arbutus, and Reynolds schools, where she made friends easily and deep connections with her Education Assistants. Amy had a spark that drew people to her, and she taught simple Sign language to everyone she met. As an adult, Amy attended Good Neighbours Day Program and Music classes through Lifetime Networks. She loved to sing, dance, go on outings in her community and shop at Thrifty Foods. More than anything, Amy loved her family, friends, assistance, and caregivers.

A Celebration of Amy’s Life will be held on Friday May 1st, 2026, in the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive at 10:00 AM.

Amy will be laid to rest at Hatley Memorial Gardens.

Those wishing to donate in Amy’s name can do so through the Victoria Hospital Foundation or through Canadian Blood Services.
