Michael Ian Grieve

April 30, 1939 – December 13, 2025

Man enjoying a cocktail outdoors

He passed away December 13th, 2025, with family at his side at Ed’s House, Northumberland’s Hospice after his long, brave fight with lung cancer.
He was born in Scotland and emigrated to Canada with his family in July, 1975.
Michael (Mike) was a beloved Son to Beryl and Ian Grieve, and devoted to his brother Derek Fraser Grieve who passed away June 28th, 2009. He was proud Uncle and will be sadly missed by Rebecca (spouse Daniel) and Jessica (spouse Shelby) and relatives in Scotland and England.
He worked for Solarfective since his early 20s and most recently for the last few years, Legrande, with its head office located in Dallas, Texas who took over the company.
Michael was a free spirit, a great outdoors man who spent weekends and every chance he got at his trailer on Paudash Lake, just south of Bancroft.
He had a great love of cars and his red Stingray Corvette was his pride and joy.
He spent many happy winter vacations at the family home in Port Charlotte, Florida.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at Ed’s House for their compassionate care and kindness, which brought comfort to Michael in his final days.
