In 1979, Malcolm’s work took them to the Philippines for four years before returning to London.  Brenda was active as a volunteer at the May Court Club supporting vulnerable young people; Oakridge Presbyterian Church; London Community Orchestra; and the Pioneer Park Rummage Sale. She was a dedicated blood donor, recognized by the Red Cross for her contribution.

Brenda loved the family cottage in Bayfield, Ontario, especially watching the sunsets over the lake. She had a great sense of humour and a contagious laugh. Brenda was very dedicated to her family and supported them in all their endeavours. She was a devoted grandmother and was happiest with all her family around her.

There will be a small gathering in Kelowna to celebrate her cremation. A larger celebration of life will occur in the summer in Bayfield Ontario.
