It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank, who left the world peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Frank was born in Figline Vegliaturo province of Cosenza, Italy. Frank was a committed husband, a loving father and cherished nonno. He was a man whose quiet and unyielding strength inspired and shaped the lives of those around him.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife, Ada, with whom he shared 61 years of devotion and partnership with. He was the proud father of Robert (Anne) and Diane Trinca (Luciano) and a deeply adored nonno to Matthew and Nadia, whom he loved more than anything in the world.
Frank believed that father-in-law was nothing more than a formality. He treated Anne and Luciano with the same love, fairness and respect that he showed his own children. Frank believed that family was everything and should stay together no matter the circumstance. He showed this belief in every aspect of his life.
Frank worked hard to ensure that his family was taken care of. During his work as a baker, he was respectful, fair, loyal and grateful. He was quiet but when it mattered, he made sure he was heard. He did not fear death but rather feared what he would leave behind. He did not want his family to be affected and devastated by his passing.
Frank loved sports – playing, coaching and watching. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and how the best teams worked together, something he applied to his family life. He also loved to bake, cook and grow food in his garden. Everything he made, he made for others, because caring for his family and sharing what he had was his way of showing love.
Even near the end, Frank wanted his family to know he wasn’t afraid. He told them, “I’m happy,” and wished them a “Merry Christmas”. His only concern was that his family would be okay. Even in his final moments, he was thinking more about their feelings than his own.
Frank was a man that loved his faith. He was a devout Roman Catholic that would attend mass often, when he was healthy. He took pride in his faith and always upheld the teachings of the church. During his last days, he took solace in the fact that he was around his family and that he would be going to God.
Though our hearts ache at his loss, we take comfort in knowing that Frank lived a full life – one defined by love, generosity and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, in the lessons he taught without ever raising his voice, and in the memories, we will hold dear forever.
