Patricia Louisa Brause

She passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, in St. Petersburg, Florida, while on her 30th wedding anniversary trip with her husband, Morris Brause.

Born in Nipigon, Ontario, on February 21, 1957, Patti was the beloved daughter of the late William Hazel Moss and Margaret Louisa Moss (Lucas).

She was the cherished mother of Delaney (Tyler) and excited soon-to-be grandmother of their first child. She was a caring stepmother to Sean (Jennifer) and Jennifer (Drew), and step-grandmother to Devyn. Patti was a loving sister to Randy (Cheryl), Marci, Tom (Susan), and Jeffery (Donna), and a devoted aunt and godmother to her many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

Patti dedicated 34 years to education as both a teacher and administrator, serving school boards in Alberta, Hamilton, and the Greater Essex County District School Board. She is fondly remembered for her positivity, leadership, and deep well of experience. Her thoughtful advice, warm stories, and compassionate listening ear will be dearly missed by many—especially her daughter.

A passionate traveler, Patti found her greatest joy in exploring the world. She was the meticulous planner of every adventure, choosing destinations, routes, and tours with care and enthusiasm. She especially loved selecting souvenirs for her family, each one a treasure that will be lovingly remembered.

Patti will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and remembered always for her incredible organization, unwavering kindness, and wonderful sense of humor.

Visiting will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 5–8 p.m. at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Funeral December 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s By-The-Lake (150 St. Marks).
