November 14, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Robert “Bob” Peat, who passed away peacefully at home on November 14, 2025, in his 84th year. Bob was a devoted husband to his beloved Mary and a proud, loving father to his daughter Tarra (Kelly). He also held a special place in his heart for his stepchildren, Chris (Christine) and Darryl (Jodi), who brought joy and fullness to his life. Nothing meant more to Bob than his family. He treasured his grandchildren—Kyle, Emma, Bryce, Kacie, Cole, Logan, Kylie, and Kholton—each one a source of light, laughter, and pride. He was equally blessed with several great-grandchildren, whom he adored deeply. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Bob rarely missed a hockey or baseball game, and he especially loved cheering on his grandchildren from the stands. His exceptional memory for sports statistics—players, scores, and historic moments alike—was legendary. Sharing those stories and facts was one of his favourite ways to connect, and he lit up whenever someone was willing to listen. Bob will be remembered for his kindness, gentle spirit, quick wit, and the steady, unwavering love he held for his family. His presence touched many, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to his doctor and the palliative care team for their compassionate care and support. Rest in peace, Bob.
