passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Loving father to Michelle Smith (Adam). Beloved son of the late Alphonse (2023) and the late Henrietta Rivest (1984). Dear brother to the late Philip (2003) and wife Hollie, Janine and husband Wes Chandler, Deborah Rivest (2008), Jessica McLellan and late husband Tim, David and wife Kathy, Brian Rivest and Al, Peter and Margaret, the late Stanley (1995), Monique Rintaniemi and husband Alan, Cecillia Hochreiter and husband Jim, John and wife Barbara. Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Michael was a very hard worker, he will be sadly missed by everyone he came in contact with.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, 519-326-2631, on Monday, November 3rd from 1p.m till time of celebration of life at 2:30p.m. Burial to follow at Holy Redeemer.
