Michelle Jennifer Walter

April 8, 1970 – October 28, 2025

Michelle Jennifer Walter April 8 1970 October 28 2025

She was the beloved daughter of the late Bonita and Gordon. Survived by her step-sister, Lindsay Walter. Michelle grew up in Bowmanville, where she built a life filled with compassion, laughter, and strength. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Ashleigh (Kevin), Justin (Kassie), and Jordan, and a deeply loved “Grams” to her grandchildren, Hudson, Oliver, and Lillian.
Michelle will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, many dear friends, and all those whose lives she touched. During her time at Victoria Manor, she formed meaningful connections with residents and staff alike. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers and team at Victoria Manor Nursing Home, who went above and beyond to provide comfort, dignity, and kindness to Michelle in her final years.
Michelle had a lifelong love for animals, especially horses and dogs. In her later years, she found great fulfillment volunteering at the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes. She was also a fierce advocate for those around her never afraid to stand up for what was right and to lend her voice to others.
Her joyful spirit shone brightest every Halloween, Michelle’s favourite time of year, a season she filled with excitement, imagination, and joy. Her home was always transformed into a festive display, complete with elaborate decorations and creative costumes. To honour her love for the holiday, her family will be holding her visitation and burial on Halloween a fitting tribute to her bright and spirited soul.
Visitation will be held at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Friday, October 31st, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with interment following at the Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michelle’s memory to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes (HSKL), an organization that meant so much to her.
Michelle’s kindness, humour, and fierce love will be forever missed by all who knew her.
