We are saddened to announce the passing of Kurl Burry (July 19th, 1968 – October 18th, 2025)
Kurl’s life revolved around his family, providing a secure home full of love, food, and joy. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudette, children Tyra, Keitel, Jojo, Tyric. Beloved Grandpa and Pop Pop of Lincoln, Xia, Loxley, and Bri. He was preceded in death by his dearly loved Nan (Dorothy) Burry.
Kurl was there for anyone that needed a helping hand, or a simple laugh. He would always put others first even if it meant going without. Kurl had an established career as a Truck Driver, often gracing others’ day with a cheerful phone call if he was on the road.
Kurl’s warmth, generosity, and kind-heartedness will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bowmanville Cemetery, with a reception to follow at the Bowmanville Memorial Park Club House from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
